CalPACS Updates

About CalPACS:

CalPACS is now a stand alone 501(c)(6) non-profit. This status strengthens CalPACS’ transparency and provides a mechanism for greater member participation. We will continue to contact member agencies for additional feedback on how to improve and meet our agency needs. We also seek volunteers for the CalPACS Board.

Member agency billing changed to a fiscal year cycle to better coincide with agency budgeting. The 2018 member renewal invoice amount remains the same: $275.00 for regular membership and $1,200 for premier membership. Regular membership is based on agency entry of survey data and premier membership is based on agency data entry by the CalPACS team. The membership cycle covers 18 months: January 2018 through June 2019. Payments should be made payable to “CalPACS” -- no longer to the City of Tustin.

As a member-driven entity, agency participation is essential to CalPACS’ success. Participation includes ensuring that contacts, pay, and benefits data is up-to-date. Contract and Rate Changes- Please Update Your Data

News:

CalPACS has an active quality assurance program. Membership will be discontinued in the event that agency data is no longer current.

Member agencies are expected to maintain and update their contact information, salary rates, and benefits practices. Changes in agency personnel should be reflected in the Administrator, Salary, Benefits, and Billing data fields using the Contacts link. Additional users can be designated by the agency administrator or with the assistance of your CalPACS Team.

As new contracts are adopted and salary and benefit practices change, agencies are expected to regularly update their information in batch entry or individual edit mode. Please make sure to update the pay rates for your benchmark classifications, as well as for any benefits changes. Keeping salary and benefits information current is what makes CalPACS work. Thank you!

New Site

We've completely redesigned our new CalPACS site for ease of use and additional functionality:


  • Smartphone and tablet friendly.

  • More powerful and flexible reporting.

  • All report columns may be sorted, selected, or searched.

  • Vastly improved benefits and perquisite reports

  • Vastly simplified data entry across tiers or an entire agency.

Note that we've changed the way members access CalPACS. Members now sign into the site using their email address.
