Description:

community college. Assists students in the use of career center resources, tests, and job search

techniques. Coordinates career fairs, and college recruiter presentations, and informs students of career

center activities, presentations, and events. Tracks and updates information related to occupational

opportunities. Distributes and assists students with college and financial applications and scholarships.

Consults with counselors and faculty regarding career education functions. May supervise student aides.

Guide:

• Six or more months of office clerical and educational support experience.

Exclusion:

• Professional counselors and certificated positions requiring a Bachelor’s degree or counseling certification.
