Description:

Under general supervision, contacts and tracks qualified substitute teachers to fill daily and longer-term

substitute teaching needs. Assists with recruitment for regular assignments by assuring that certificated

personnel have provided valid and appropriate credentials for assigned placements. Reviews college

transcripts for applicants and current employees to verify appropriate salary schedule placement and

eligibility for certification pay. May provide assistance with recruiting functions and serve as liaison for the

District, other districts, and the Department of Education given outreach and research activities.
