Description:

Performs entry-level non-sworn public safety activities. Under supervision, performs entry level work related to public safety, including assisting the general public in providing information; assisting with property and storage photography and fingerprinting, crime prevention programs, community relations programs, transporting prisoners, and directing traffic. Other duties may include taking police reports and compiling statistics and special surveys relating to the field of law enforcement.

• Current participation in a criminal justice education program preferred.
• California drivers license required.
