Description:

Assists in the supervision of facilities, programs, equipment and special events. Specific duties will vary with facility or primary activities. General duties will be to assist in program development and implementation, assist in preparation and supervision of facility and amenities for patron use, assist in program/facility cleanup, and prepare paperwork and reports directly related to program development and facility operation. Also, the ability to communicate and interact with the general public, community groups, staff, and supervisors is required.

• Requires some prior seasonal recreation experience.
• Should have completed high school or equivalent.
• Usually requires basic knowledge of sports, dance, drama, music, basic movement, crafts, and general play skills.

• Recreation coordinators or supervisors.
• Recreation Aides (i.e., non-experienced seasonal positions).
